An Official Community Plan is one of the most important documents prepared by a community. The Plan is essentially a statement of intent for the community’s future over a five to ten year period. The policies of an OCP will affect the District's physical, social and economic development. These policies provide the framework for future development decisions and give residents an idea of the future shape and direction of the community.
